BPA has been hired by the American Council of Education to design, implement, and synthesize data for ACE's annual statistical report. This report is distributed to thousands of policy makers, educators, and GED Administrators throughout the United States, Canada, and the Insular Areas and Freely Associated States. BPA's role is to analyze the data of over 1 million GED test takers and GED recipients. Analysis consists of establishing both nationwide trends as well as statewide trends on such demographic characteristics as age, race, gender and income. Other trends will include the nationwide and statewide need for the GED certificate, the characteristics of individuals who attempted the GED, and the passing rates and educational achievement of GED completers.
