Hui Kim earned a Master of Public Policy degree, with concentrations in Social and Environmental Policy, from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).  Her research interests include access to higher education, social welfare, youth violence prevention, teen pregnancy prevention, urban planning, and resource conservation.  Prior to working at Berkeley Policy Associates, Hui was a Research Analyst at Acumen, LLC, conducted a policy analysis on behalf of Heal the Bay for her Master's thesis, and interned with multiple government agencies - USDA, City of Monterey, and the City of Salinas.
